pure technology group (PTG) has announced another record-breaking year – growing by 17% to reach £39.7m in 2020 – its highest turnover to date.

This growth, also reflected in profitability and headcount, keeps PTG firmly on track to top £50m in 2021.

Despite the pressures of COVID-19, the group achieved several major milestones this year.

In October PTG announced its partnership with ERL (England Rugby League) – securing its place as England’s official technology partner and helping the national team harness the power of technology to gain a competitive advantage for the 2021 World Cup.

Further achievements included winning the CRN Reseller of the Year Award, launching a sustainable end-point model (zeroC), plus surpassing the £100k fund-raising milestone for charity of choice, Candlelighters.

The ‘#Summer100’ campaign featured a series of fundraising events and PTG became the first organisation to join ‘Club Candlelighters’ – making a three‐year commitment to raise at least £25k per annum for the charity in 2020.

In-line with the group’s strategy re-launch back in 2019, PTG made substantial growth in the Public Sector market, securing positions on three major frameworks including CPC (Crescent Purchasing Consortium), NPS Wales (National Procurement Service) and CCS (Crown Commercial Service) frameworks – with a combined value of over £830m.

Commenting on PTG’s development, Group CEO Stephen O’Brien, said:
“Despite the challenges of COVID-19, it’s been another exciting year of progress for the Group, financially and with other key milestones achieved. Our goal is to be there for employees, customers and partners in whatever way they need, enabling technology and advice to keep things going as we see businesses adapt and change every day. Our company was founded on core values – team, people, trust, customer success, innovation, and equality. Our values are unwavering and continue to guide everything we do to propel our business forward.”
