PTG celebrates another framework success within the public sector: the Crown Commercial Service (CCS)

PTG is proud to announce a new framework success: this time securing a place on the Crown Commercial Service RM6147 Technology Online Purchasing Content Framework for the supply of commodity IT products. CCS is the biggest public sector procurement organisation in the UK and supports the public sector to achieve maximum commercial value when procuring common goods and services.

In 2019/20, CCS helped the public sector to achieve commercial benefits worth more than £1bn - supporting world-class public services that offer best value for taxpayers.

The CCS framework has a wide range of commercial agreements, working with other departments and partner public buying organisations, aiming to provide a market leading commercial solution for commodity technology products and related commodifiable services. This framework will enable suppliers to provide buyers with a range of commoditised technology hardware and software products via an online catalogue.

This is further confirmation of PTG’s growing stature as a credible supplier to the Public Sector. It is our third successive framework appointment and takes us a step closer to fulfilling our objectives for the year. We are very much looking forward to supporting the CCS team in promoting what is a new framework. These are exciting times for PTG’s expanding Public Sector team.

The framework agreement contract duration is 48 months, with the estimated overall contract value of £500,000,000.  The resulting contract will drive value, benefits and savings for the public sector, supporting customers through digital transformation.
