The pure technology group (PTG) is proud to announce its success in securing a place on the prestigious, national CPC Educational Framework, being one of only three companies to have been awarded a place on all five lots. The multi-million-pound framework is used by individual schools, MATs (multi-academy trusts) and FE Colleges to maximise the return on IT investments in an educational setting.

The CPC has over 7,000 members that have access to this framework, with the annual expenditure of the previous agreement exceeding £25m.

CPC was established in 2000 and is a national purchasing consortium owned and run by the further education sector. The team at CPC is made up of experienced and dedicated procurement experts who offer support and guidance to CPC members and suppliers.

Being appointed onto this framework is hugely positive for PTG and its growth plans within the Public Sector. The framework itself is a well-known, well-established and highly utilised platform within the education sector. It also follows other successful appointments to frameworks including: Western Power Distribution, Northumbrian Water and The Welsh National IT Hardware Framework. This growing portfolio demonstrates PTG’s growing reputation within the contracts and frameworks arena.

Richard Williams, Contracts and Tenders Manger, commented:

“It’s been a long-held ambition for PTG to find a place on this prestigious framework and it’s particularly pleasing to be one of only three applicants to secure all five lots. We’re looking forward to working with the CPC team to expand the success of the framework, but more importantly, we’re looking forward to working with CPC members to help maximise their budgets at this difficult time.”

Desktop Hardware Framework Agreement

The Framework Agreement will be split into 5 lots as follows:

Lot 1 - Desktop PC Solutions

Lot 2 - Portable Devices Solutions

Lot 3 - Peripherals

Lot 4 - Apple Solutions

Lot 5 - Multi-Purpose Lot

It is expected that the Framework Agreement uptake will increase due to organic growth in membership and more effective Framework promotion. With a total estimated framework value of between £128m and £256m for all lots over a four-year period.

We look forward to further developing our presence in the education sector through this exciting opportunity with CPC.
