The pure technology group (PTG) secures entry on to the Energy Systems Catapult (ESC) framework with a 3-year contract, starting on the 1st of August 2019.

Energy Systems Catapult is an independent, not-for-profit centre of excellence that bridges the gap between industry, government, academia and research. It was set up to accelerate the transformation of the UK’s energy system and ensure UK businesses and consumers capture the opportunities of clean growth.

PTG is now one of three exclusive providers of laptops, tablets, desktop PC’s, monitors, input devices, printers, accessories, components, servers and mainframes to ESC with an estimated contract spend totalling £3m over the 3-year framework term.

Following an exacting 2-month tender process, the Group was thrilled to discover its tender proposal had been successful. This was largely due to the Group’s track record as a trusted provider supplying other utility organisations.

“After recent wins with Northern Gas Networks and South East Water this is another great addition to PTG’s burgeoning reputation within the utilities industry. With further opportunities in the pipeline these are exciting times to be involved in this rapidly evolving sector.”
Richard Williams, Business Development Manager, PTG.
