Having expanded rapidly, Clarion, like many businesses, was faced with the problem of how to ensure its technology not only kept up with its current growth but also had the capacity to allow for continued expansion. Rather than simply replacing its ageing IT equipment, the firm wanted to find a more dynamic solution which would give it the flexibility and security it needs, whilst also being cost effective.

The pure technology group proposed that Clarion move its IT to a private cloud facility and provided a full suite of licensing, allowing it to maximise its software estate and stay protected from any license infringements. As well as reducing its overall IT expenditure, this gave the firm a state-of-the-art system with enhanced flexibility, enabling it to add new systems very quickly. Dedicated nodes from the cloud platform ensured Clarion shared no resource, giving it optimum IT performance.
